Was on Twitter. Don’t miss it.

It’s certainly an acquired taste and sometimes requires prying the phone out of your hands... but there are so many great folk on there. Sadly, the dumb ones are the loudest.

I use it to promote our YouTube channel. Bellos Cabros. And travel videos. But I don't get much attention. Amal makes all of the videos, and they are very good.

What do you recommend we use instead of Twitter?

There isn't anything quite as robust as Twitter... yet. However, you can use things like Spoutible.com, Blue Sky (when it gets released), LinkedIn (for business stuff), and even Notes right here on Substack. Notes, I think, has the biggest potential of all so far.

Yes to all of this. Thank you!!! I was thinking how fun Twitter used to be. But then I realized that I didn't see a lot of the toxicity before because I only saw the people that I chose to follow. But for a while now, it's just been so toxic, and not in the Britney Spears pop song way. I'll still live tweet during a favourite show in order to hopefully help get it renewed (Walker) and definitely share the posts of grandly funny/wise humans like yourself. But the rest of it, I'm just going to spend my time and energy elsewhere.

I find I drop into Twitter once in awhile, take a look around and leave early.
