I have never been as aware of time as I am these days. Approaching 80 , I have been told repeatedly by medical practitioners,” ... life expectancy for women in this country is 84, you’re 78”. This when questioning the long term effects of a procedure. Or when looking for a hip replacement. “ at your age and weight ( I do not scare small children) no way. “ Many of my friends are facing the same nonsense. On the other hand time was marching on so I took a month in the Australian outback touring because what the heck,if I fell out of the sky an that rickety airplane,what a way to go!
