I was really tickled when I saw this. He and I “might” be related (through the Quebec Maynards) so I have always followed what he is doing. What a nice experience for you and Shannon.
Your voice of reason during the pandemic stood out as just that- a voice of reason. There was so much utter nonsense being spouted that it was a treat to hear some sanity being promoted. So good on you for having spoken up in reasoned tones. As for our PM, he is the only politician I know who has a vision of the Canada I love. He has met huge challenges. Yes he makes mistakes but he owns them when he does and they seem based on genuine error rather than the cynical and soul less “let’s see what I can get away with “. of the ( for example) Fords of this world
What a perfect way to put it - - "he has a vision of the Canada I love." I lived in the US for several years, moved home to Canada in 2017 (after a disappointing result in their federal election.) I am VERY troubled to see a group of people trying to co-opt my flag. This was exactly how things started down in the US about 15 years ago. It was the first step, and look where they are now.
Anyway, thank you for putting my thoughts into your perfect words.
I first saw you on Vine when I was bored one evening. Then followed you to Facebook. Your live feed there was a lifesaver for me. Laughter really is the best medicine & you provided that for me. In my mind we are good friends. I will always be your fan. ✌️❤️😃🇨🇦🇺🇸
I stood in line with him to buy beer at the West Broadway BC Liquor Store nearly 20 years ago, and he was the most genuine, happy, curious guy. It was a long line, he struck up the conversation (it wasn't until a few minutes later I realized who he was), and as he left (he was in front of me in line), he looked back and said "have a great day, Nancy !!" I liked that guy. I still like that guy. I too feel good that he and his people are in charge. It's a thankless job, and the ugly encroaching influence of US politics and tactics used against him makes me sick, (so NOT Canadian) but I feel like he has tried to move things forward, not backward. He will get my vote again next time, whenever that time comes.
WOW - just wow. I have never been a "Liberal" My family was NDP to the core, but I voted for Justin.I think it's so cool that you got invited. I know you think you're just an average Joe, making fun videos, but the truth is, what you do is very important to a lot of people. I can't remember how often one of your videos has made my day, or got me out of a dark place. I so looked forward to Friday mornings, spending time with you and Shannon on TMST. I started watching just after I lost my job and there wasn't much those days that I looked forward to. Face it buddy, you're going to have to get used to "Fans" As long as you're out there, we'll be out there too ! And icing on the cake - I LOVED the book!
I trust you gave him the same advice and guidance you offer us, because somedays he needs to hear the unvarnished truth by non-political people! Other than that comment, I truly enjoy your articles and I appreciate his leadership of the county the past few years! Keep it up!

Glad you were invited. And glad you experienced that time without being 'swayed' by the nonsense being published about our PM.

Thank goodness for those "terrible decisions" - what would the world be like without them?! (It's why I'm a subscriber, Stewart!)
How I look forward to your posts...common sense with humour. A+
