Any chance of coming to Windsor on your tour? My friends have a coffee shop there and I’m sure they could host you. (Joking. I’m sure you can get a bigger venue.)

Amherstburg on Sept 22!

Tickets not yet for sale but ask River Bookshop!

Thanks for your article on an interesting topic. Question: is “caring about others” (versus “caring about myself”) a political position? Or, is there a distinction between “ethical” positions versus “political” positions? (Sorry, I didn’t take that philosophy course)

I think politics has attempted to hijack ethics/morals. Definitely separate things. Though politics can determine values (spend here not there), I think that’s still different from aiming for the greater good, even if they crossover.

Also, I got kicked out of university, so consume this missive accordingly. 😉

I find it hard not to get sucked into politics when I have to decide to vote for a person who seems to have social values that are repugnant to me but who seems to have a more sound economic plan than the incumbent or for the person whose view of the country as a whole aligns with mine ( not mentioning any names or parties) it’s downright scary to think that a Trump could be elected in Canada. The stakes are pretty high when civil liberty is on the table.

Also coming to Hamilton with your tour would be good.

I hate politics too. Each party always says the party in power is doing everything wrong. But too often, it's exactly what they would do. It drives me NUTS!

On a lighter note, I play Wordle too. But as a true Canadian, you need to start playing Canuckle! It's the Canadian version of Wordle. And it's great!!
