We seem to have lost the ability to have opposite views on any subject but to maintain respect in discussion. Everyone these days takes a position and “staunchly never budges” and then adds character assassination to the mix. I sincerely hope you are right. We need some polite in politics .
Many have lost the ability to discuss something with someone unless they agree 100%. Both sides can have valid points they agree on along with some points we may disagree with. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Great mention about Andrew Scheer, who has been on the taxpayers payroll as an MP since 2004 when he turned 25, so not a lot of experience living like an average Canadian.
I certainly hope you're right, I'm oh so tired of #CutthroatPierre and his intellectually challenged supporters.

Yes ! I miss civilization. I want it back.
Merry Christmas
Thank you so much!! This was beautiful to read today
" Civility and decorum is returning.
We just need to help it a bit.
Prime the pump.
Life is as pleasant as we can make it.
We can make it cut-throat and win-at-all-costs…
or we can make it respectful and, for lack of a better word, nice.
I choose the latter."
SO DO I
I might have missed the story about Mr. Scheer… can you point me in the right direction to find it?
